Today Yanga sports club is playing agains Viper United from Uganda in the climax of the SIKU YA MWANANCHI, which will be held today 06 August at the Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
However, The siku ya mwananchi which is being held for the second year, as it aims to introduce new players as well as old players who will be playing in this new season 2023/2024.
This match is used as a friendly match for Yanga in his preparation for the new season of the NBC Premier League which is expected to start on August 13 where Yanga will go down to the field against Simba at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam in the community shield.
Yanga has so far registered a total of 4 players from home and abroad while leaving 4 players, who served the club in the League at the last season.
